Abstract

Two field experiments were conducted at Om-Sin Village. EI-Ryade Sector.
Kafr EI-Sheikh Governorate during 2000/2001 and 2001/2002 seasons. to evaluate
gro ..•• /th. yield and its components for 12 genotypes (i.e. Giza 7; Giza 8; Sakha 1;
Sakha 2; Belinka; Strain 6; Strain 7; Strain 8; Strain 12; Strain 13; Strain 16 and
Strain 19). Growth measurement were recorded at 60. 90 and 120 days after planting
date.
Data revealed that plant height and dry weight per plant continued to
, iricrease until the last sampling date. Significant differences were found between flax
genotYpes for the three growth characteristics at all sampling dates. Significant
differences were found between genotypes in yield and its components and
, technological characters of straw.
